Robert J. Thissen is an award-winning screenwriter and director. He recently won the grand prize filmmaking award for the Sundance and Sci-Fi Channel's Exposure Film Contest, earning the title "The World's Next Great Filmmaker," voted by a worldwide viewing audience. Thissen is involved in every aspect of his work, including writing, directing, camera, editing, special effects and even scoring the soundtrack for his productions.
Thissen has earned both a bachelor’s and master of arts degree in mass communication at California State University, Fresno and teaches an intense in-depth screenwriting course through university extensions. He is currently in development for several film and television projects, and will soon be producing and directing a psychological-thriller motion picture.
