Nathan Moore moved to Fresno in 1994 to attend Fresno State University on a music scholarship. After graduating from Fresno State with a degree in psychology, he began his career as a financial planner. Moore obtained the prestigious designation of CFP® (certified financial planner) in 2001, and has clients in six different states.

Moore is actively involved in the community. He plays an active role with organizations such as Make-A-Wish Foundation and Valley Public Television. Nathan and his family are members at Family Community Church in northeast Fresno, where he is involved in leadership through his role as a deacon and AWANA Cubbies instructor. Nathan believes that "I am a work in progress. I am not where I should be, but have come a long ways from where I was," and tries to live his life according to 1 Corinthians 10:23.
