Lisa Bennett

Soutas and Associates

Lisa Bennett was born and raised in Fresno, and attended Clovis West High School before moving on to California State University, Fresno and earning her bachelor’s degree in social sciences in 1999.  She received her Juris Doctorate Degree from the San Joaquin College of Law in 2003.  After graduating from Fresno State, she did criminal defense work for local attorneys, and was the lead legal assistant for Tulare County’s largest capital murder case, the Patos Bar murders.

Bennett joined Soutas and Associates as it was merging with Steen and Associates.  One goal was to find out how to continue to provide clients with the level of service they had come to expect.  Bennett organized the office, helped decide what the policies and procedures should be, and figured out how to work with as well as meet skilled nursing facilities.  Among the organizations she has been involved with include the Butterfly program, the Clovis Chamber of Commerce, the Women’s Business Network, and The Aging Network.
