Case Lawrence

CargoBay

Case Lawrence has lived nearly his whole life in the Fresno area. He attended Fort Washington Elementary and Clovis West High School, where he graduated. Lawrence spent two years on a Mormon mission in Budapest, Hungary, before attending Brigham Young University. Following his time at BYU, Lawrence enrolled in Duke Law School.

After finishing school, he went to work at a venture capital firm in Menlo Park, California. He began CargoBay, an incubator for small businesses, with his partner David Mason in 2004. From CargoBay came new but similar facilities, OfficeBay and VentureBay, located on the same campus as CargoBay. CargoBay has facilities in Gilbert, Arizona, St. Louis, Missouri, and one planned for north Fresno, as well as different spots in the United States.
